3 Favorite Game Trailers of E3 2017

E3 is over, the dust has settled and we have had time to let our little brains melt all the impressions we were bombarded with. In other words, it’s time for me to list my 3 favorite trailers from the event!

The Last Night E3 Trailer

Last Night is a platform game being made by indie developer Odd Tales and will be published by Raw Fury. It is expected to release all over the world during 2018, on Xbox One and Windows. I’ve probably never seen the reality of sexy pixeled graphics. And that’s because the trailer “only” ends in 3 place because I do not know much about the game itself. It’s the design that makes me feel crazy inside while also longing to actually play it. Hopefully, there will be a great game there under this amazing  surface, but until now I’m delighted with the Blade Runner-scented aesthetics.

Metro Exodus E3 Gameplay Trailer

I absolutely love Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. When it comes to pure experience and analogy, they belong at the top layer in the game world; and that a third game is in the works makes me all warm inside. It has been confirmed in retrospect that Metro Exodus will not be an open world game, as many of us believed when it was shown; but we can probably expect it to go a bit further in its design than previous games – judging from the amazing in game trailer.  I do not need to waste much time explaining why this makes me wanna play Metro Exodus som much. You who have played the previous games know what I’m talking about. And if  not, you can get both on Playstation 4 and Xbox One for a small sum.

Sea of Thieves E3 Gameplay Trailer

We’ve known about Sea of Thieves existence for a while now, but it was with this year’s E3 trailer the concept really showed its potential for me. Among Microsoft’s exclusive stuff, this is what I look forward to the most. I love how little the game holds your hand, and lets the player shape his own pirate adventure in this vast world. One can only imagine the gaps we will be exposed to in the seven seas with the company of a bunch of friends I want to dig up precious treasures, swim from sharks and attack other pirates with the guns – preferably right now!
